Train as a Counsellor

I have recently opened a branch of the successful College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies CCBT) in Queens Square in Bath. The main centre of the college has been running courses in London since 2005. CCBT is a training organisation that specialises in professional counseling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy training.

We offer the following comprehensive courses:

• Diploma in CBT
• Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis
• Advanced Diploma in CBT
• Advanced Diploma in Integrative Therapy

In addition we run several one-day CPD Master classes.

For those with no formal training we also offer An introduction to Counseling. Skills and Ethics.

CCBT is the only college in the UK, which offers an integrative training programme based on the highly effective trans-diagnostic framework of Rational Emotional Behaviour Therapy (REBT) one of the main schools of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).  REBT looks at the person as whole rather than as a symptom and teaches a humanistic universal model that can be applied to a wide range of emotional, behavioural and symptomatic issues. It offers clients a structure and philosophy that allows them to make effective and long lasting emotional and behavioural change.

The aim of the course is to deliver comprehensive training in all aspects of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.  As an existing professional you will recognise the importance of CPD and its benefits to your work and at CCBT we are committed to delivering the most thorough training.  All our lecturer are practicing psychotherapists and all hold Masters degrees, having trained with Professor Windy Dryden, who is one of our guest lecturers.

We run regular sessions where you can experience our training, ask questions and get a CPD certificate for attending. Please email us for dates of  the next available taster session.
